Use this recording as a mindfulness exercise to reconnect with yourself, and your world, wherever you are, right now. Listening to the distinct sounds in this recording, it can be a very effective tool to facilitate present moment awareness. 

 

Prarie Rain can also be background noise, used to help engage focus and concentration (maybe to help with homework, writing a term paper, or getting that to-do list under control). 

 

It also functions very well as “white noise”, or masking noise, which can be useful to minimize environmental distractions. People with tinnitus and attention difficulties are likely to benefit from using the recording in this way.
